FAQ
Welcome to 3dy.shop! Below you’ll find answers to common questions about our 3D‑printed products and how we work.
1) About 3dy.shop
Q: Who actually makes these products?
A: All items are 3D‑printed and finished by 3dy.shop. The underlying digital designs are created by ForgeCore (design credit). We are an independent maker using their designs to produce physical goods.
Q: Are you affiliated with ForgeCore?
A: We credit ForgeCore as the original designer. We hold a license/permission to produce physical prints of their designs. For design‑related questions, please contact us first.
Q: Where are you based?
A: Poland. We print and ship from here.
2) Product & Quality
Q: What materials do you print with?
A: Most items are printed in PLA, chosen for durability and finish. Each product page lists the material used.
Q: Will I see layer lines or small marks?
A: Yes—3D printing builds objects layer‑by‑layer, so subtle layer lines and minor surface variations are normal. We tune settings to balance strength, detail, and finish.
Q: Can I choose colors or finishes?
A: Yes—available colors are shown on each product page. If you need a custom color or finish, choose the custom option or contact us.
Q: Do parts come assembled?
A: Most items arrive ready to use. Some products may require light assembly.
3) Ordering, Lead Times & Stock
Q: Are items made‑to‑order or in stock?
A: Many items are made‑to‑order so we can offer more colors and sizes. Some popular variants are kept in limited stock.
Q: How long will my order take to make?
A: Production time is usually 1-2 business days before shipping. Large or complex items may take longer; check the product page for details.
Q: Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
A: If we haven’t started printing, we can usually adjust or cancel. Once printing begins, changes may not be possible. Contact us ASAP with your order number.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept major cards and Shopify‑supported methods. PayPal/Apple Pay/Google Pay/Blik/etc.
4) Shipping & Delivery
Q: Where do you ship?
A: We currently ship to USA/EU/UK/AU. If your country isn’t listed at checkout, message us.
Q: How much is shipping and how long does it take?
A: Rates and estimates are shown at checkout. Typical transit times: Domestic: 1–2 business days. EU: 5–7. International: 5-10.
Q: Do you provide tracking?
A: Yes—tracking details are emailed once your order ships.
Q: Will I pay customs or VAT?
A: Orders shipped outside EU may incur import taxes, duties, or fees charged by your local customs office. These are the buyer’s responsibility.
Q: My package is delayed or lost—what now?
A: Please check the tracking link first. If it hasn’t updated for 5 days, contact us and we’ll help investigate with the carrier.
5) Returns, Exchanges & Warranty
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We offer returns within 14 days of delivery for unused items in original condition/packaging. Contact us before returning. Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or we made a mistake. Custom or personalized items may be non‑returnable.
Q: My item arrived damaged or with a defect—what should I do?
A: Contact us within 14 days with photos of the packaging and item. We’ll repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
6) Custom & Bulk Orders
Q: Can you print a custom size, color, or tweak a design?
A: Often, yes. Tell us what you need (dimensions, color, use case) and we’ll confirm feasibility, pricing, and lead time.
Q: Can you print my own 3D model?
A: We can evaluate customer‑supplied models (STL/STEP). Please ensure you have the rights to print the design. We’ll quote based on material, size, and print time.
Q: Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
A: Yes for qualifying quantities. Share the item and quantity, and we’ll prepare a quote.
7) Care & Use
Q: How should I care for my 3D‑printed item?
A: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or prolonged heat/sun exposure. PLA especially can deform above ~55–60°C; don’t leave it in hot cars or near heaters.
Q: Can I leave prints outdoors?
A: PLA is best kept indoors. PETG/ASA hold up better outdoors, but color fading or wear can still occur over time.
8) Legal & Licensing
Q: Who owns the intellectual property of the designs?
A: Design IP belongs to ForgeCore. 3dy.shop produces physical prints under credit and license.
